Rowland McGabhann (pronounced McGowan) was born in Dublin, Ireland

From an early age, he was an avid reader, captivated by the idea of travel and adventure, which took him to many places—something he pursues to this day.

In his early years, Rowland was not just a reader but also a doer. He was heavily involved in sports, representing Ireland at an international level and competing in several world championships. He also holds a third-degree blackbelt in Tae Quan Do.

Rowland’s dedication and hard work in sports inspired many. His transition to a professional Speaker and Author, marked by the success of his top-selling self-help book, ‘Releasing the Beast Within, a Path to Mental Toughness,’ is a testament to his versatility and determination.

Rowland currently resides in Australia, where he continues to pen his adventure-filled novels led by The Savage Brothers and the eclectic band they formed, calling themselves ‘Umbrella Inc.’
